Wanted to love it, but stop forcing full-screen. Seriously, it's a cardinal sin. It's like unskippable (useless) dialogue in games, and recipe sites who force you to read about their nan's life history.

My computer is primarily for work, so it's big, and close. I can't do full screen gaming.

Guys, it looks and sound beautiful, but it's currently unplayable for me.

EDIT: Ok, got it, however, UP is ALWAYS jump. Even when UP also enters doors, UP is still jump. It feels like you catered to controller players first, then keyboard was an afterthought.

BoMToons responds:

Press esc to exit full screen, you can do everything from the keyboard after that (no clicking required)

Enemies don't even take damage.

Absolutely beautiful and really atmospheric. I would love to see a full version of this that wasn't quite so linear. Only negative is that one scene where the graphics don't quite match the style of the rest of the game. Great job though.

Never, ever, force fullscreen. It's a cardinal sin.

JonathanGV responds:

My bad! My intention was for it to full screen on mobile only but receives the click as an input tap, as soon as I get on my laptop I'm fixing that asap and add it as an option

Update: Just fixed it!

I got to the red cat, but couldn't figure out what I'm supposed to do.

Some of the later levels were pretty rage inducing. A snap-to-grid movement might be better.

Wow. What an annoying POS.

This really needs a one player mode. I can't even play it properly. I've tried several times and waited for ages, but no one else is joining. Seems like it would be really fun. Offline play is difficult with the camera.

Interesting, but far too slow. Slow movement and lots of lag.

Maxiecole responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I updated the game so you move by clicking on the location you want to move to. The movement was too laggy, as you say.

Well, this really takes me back. Let's get the biggest gripe out of the way; clicking anywhere on the screen opens the TypeHelp website every time. Very annoying if you lose focus.

Otherwise, this is really good. Not finished yet, but muddling my way through.

No music? I know it's text-based, but might be an idea.

Also, some lovely retro graphics would be nice.

No pun intended, but a text walkthrough would be much more useful than a video.

BoMToons responds:

The click-anywhere thing is a Ruffle bug. They're working on it.

I thought about perhaps adding a command line command to load a NG audio file... think it would be worth it?

The pixelated white text and the commodore 64 keyboard aren't retro enough??? ;-)

There's a text walkthrough on the site now, but warning, it has spoilers!

I really liked this. It's just a shame it's so short. It only takes two playthroughs to complete it fully. However, the scoring scene wasn't working for me.

Would be great to see a version which was random. Could be expended so you could observe guests around the hotel.
