This is lots of fun. Graphics, gameplay, controls; all great. I like that the enemies are randomly generated in each room. Stops it from being too repetitive.

A couple of issues:
1) Cannot skip cutscenes. They get a bit annoying after a while
2) Slime (on clearing a room, it would be preferable if it disappeared quicker.)
3) Money (Again on clearing a room perhaps it should auto pickup?)
4) The third boss seems easier than the second (edit: it was only on the second complete that the third boss spawned spiderlings.)
5) Replaying and completeing normal after completing hard freezes the game.

This was more fun than it should have been.

Really needs additional ways to influences the dancing.

Maybe being able to change the beat/tempo etc.?

Really wanted to like this more, but a couple of things make it quite frustrating.

1) You shoot really slowly
2) Only three hearts (combined with slow shooting makes it a little too tough.) I suggest five hearts
3) THE FIRST BOSS: a) This is when it feels jumping should be a little higher/further b) Touching platforms (rather than jumping ON them) shouldn't trigger their timer

I did get to the second stage, but after dying there, it felt too frustrating to continue.

It is good though, and great for a first project. Just needs refining.

PUTIN ХУЙЛО

I like this, and it really has potential. Controls are a little awkward when trying to run as you have to control the camera too. Also, pushing dumpsters is a pain as you slide as you push. Finally, the full restart on death is frustrating.

Haris responds:

Hey, thanks for the feedback! The controls have a method to provide efficiency. Try using less camera motion, as it used to be in older games. Helps with the dumpsters too. Death can be avoided at places such as the roofs of the cars, or taking a leap of faith:)

This could be really good, and I particularly like how the solution to each level isn't always so obvious / linear. It's really let down by no saving or level select.

MCartwright responds:

Hi Thanks for the feedback. There is a level select menu accesible from the start, but it is hidden and is only revealed at the end of the game. I have added a save feature now that lets you continue where you left off. Thanks

Well done on getting something like this working, but where are you going to go with it?

Exemo responds:

I have no idea

There's no indication as to what weapon does what.

NCampbell responds:

yeah im working on that now but I wanted to get a more solid level design first.

If things are going to get crazier in later levels, you really need to ditch reload. Otherwise, it's looking good. A timer on the grenades would be useful.

That was really fun. Quite basic, but very enjoyable. Sometimes the lack of lighting/textures made things a little difficult. Maybe an enemy counter too?

thegrg1999 responds:

I plan to add more depth and texture in the levels to make them more atmospheric. I also have an enemy counter planned too. These changes will be present in the final version, as this game is still currently in active development. Thanks for the review!

EDIT: Then it's not a false copyright claim. You're using stolen assets.
