It looks great but the movement is really wonky. Collision shapes are well off and it's just too difficult to get on some of the lowest platforms. Feels like you can't jump high enough.

Am I the only one struggling with the controls? It looks and sound great, but the controls just feel clunky, like I need an extra hand. Also, use of control key is a poor decision for mac users.

EDIT: Even with the updated control option I still feel there's too much to it. If I'm using the mouse to attack, why can I not aim with it? That then frees up W/UP for jumping, and S/DOWN for interacting.

I guess it has potential but hit detection is, excuse the pun, hit or miss. Things which appear to hit don't register. Aiming is really weird. Voice acting, or at least the recording of it, is poor.

EDIT: I got to stage three. At that point the aiming was so difficult, I gave up.

EDIT EDIT: I genuinely think you could turn this into something solid. Just needs work.

Also just wondering how far did you get?
Some more questions about your problem: where the bottles breaking on what seemed like nothing, was the bottle just not going where you clicked or something else entirely.

I can tell that you're just starting learning to making games but:
Arrow keys need to be locked because they are still scrolling the screen
A mixture of graphic styles is never good
It's really buggy. There's platforms that you fall straight through
Why have a gun if I can't shoot it?

EDIT: Then how are you supposed to get across? I've tried to give you some useful feedback rather than just rating low and moving on. I hope you continue to learn and improve.

Dude The ghost block in the begining of a game is not a bug. I just started to learning construct for 5 days so PLZ give me not a 1 star

If I'm the one who organized that warehouse I can see why the manager is pissed off.

Can I actually interact with anything? It just seems I can walk around and push things over, but can't do anything else, such as open something.

I tried a few times but couldn't find the key. As the manager cannot be seen I don't know if there's any sort of mechanic there. Can I run from him? I should be able to hide in wardrobes. Generally it needs more to do.

i'll probably add more but the manager person isnt loading because it's an html5 game. So I'll have to figure something out. thanks for the review tho :)

Pretty funny, but it does have some issues.

1. No save (or if there is, it's not working.)
2. Most badges don't seem to be working (none are for me.)
3. I'd like to know how long a stage is.
4. Body armor is really hard to spot.
5. I got to stage 3 and retried a few times but gave up. There seemed to be too few armor/health drops.

Alright, thanks for the response. To answer everything in order:
1. Nope, there's no save only a continue point but, you have to reach a checkpoint (meaning another stage) in order to activate it. I'll still check and update it though because its suppose to work.

2. Those stupid badges...I'll check those as well.
3. Shoot and shoot and shoot, the stage ends when enough criminals are put down. Trust me, the game switches from shooting and goes to a another type of game play so it's worth it putting the time in.

4. I guess I could increase the body armor and health.
5. Wish you didn't give up, after stage 3 is when the game play switches. Thanks for review and look for the post to ensure the updates.

No idea what I'm doing or why. Very little appears to be happen. Also, the screen bobbing up and down is really nauseating.

I read a note, turning into a tree trunk and then just wandered endlessly.

I was really enjoying this, but it threw an error and I had to refresh to find it didn't save my game.

I do like it, but the rooms seem a little bland with just bare grey walls, and the graphics generally need some consistently. Also there needs to be some idea of where to use certain objects, particularly keys. If you're using a number of keys there needs to be a hint, i.e "it's locked and has a tiny keyhole", "it's locked and has brass keyhole."

And navigation could be a bit clearer. I found some places by accident.

Keep up the good work though.
