Interesting, but far too slow. Slow movement and lots of lag.

Maxiecole responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I updated the game so you move by clicking on the location you want to move to. The movement was too laggy, as you say.

Well, this really takes me back. Let's get the biggest gripe out of the way; clicking anywhere on the screen opens the TypeHelp website every time. Very annoying if you lose focus.

Otherwise, this is really good. Not finished yet, but muddling my way through.

No music? I know it's text-based, but might be an idea.

Also, some lovely retro graphics would be nice.

No pun intended, but a text walkthrough would be much more useful than a video.

BoMToons responds:

The click-anywhere thing is a Ruffle bug. They're working on it.

I thought about perhaps adding a command line command to load a NG audio file... think it would be worth it?

The pixelated white text and the commodore 64 keyboard aren't retro enough??? ;-)

There's a text walkthrough on the site now, but warning, it has spoilers!

Idea seems interesting, but it doesn't load. "Error: No available storage method found." I get the same error on itch.

martholemy responds:

I think the game is still under judgment? There's a working version on https://martholemylabs.itch.io/filipinas though f you'd like to check it out there but I'm hoping to get it running here too.

Love what you have so far. I dropped the gun when I fired it and had to pick it up again. Can't guess what the story is, but it looks interesting.

Like the pixel art, but the art of the player could be improved a little. Almost feels a little out of place. He wasn't quite as detailed as everything else.

Would like to be able to speed up text. Looking forward to the full game!

EDIT: Upon restarting the game broke. I could walk, but the camera didn't follow. Also, I started with the gun and key.

aleDTW responds:

Thank you very much, I'm going to fix these bugs, the gun dropping isn't actually a bug, I didn't made it clear but to shoot you don't have to open inventory, the inventory is just to drop items, I'm going to make this clear. Tomorrow I will update the game with the fixes! :D

Very nice and well polished, if short. An option to use up to jump would be good.

fabianvelander responds:

I hear you! I'll make sure to add that next patch :)
Thinking about prolonging the game aswell, we'll see what happens.

Although I do like it, I couldn't play for long. The light flickering is really hard on the eyes, and that's combined with the scrolling background. Honestly it made me dizzy.

HealliesGames responds:

I didn't think in the least these effects could result tiresome for eyes.
I will add as soon as possible a button in the menu to reduce graphics effects, in the case other users experience the same.
Thank you for the feedback, Jeffrey!

Why?

EDIT: Yes, but a tutorial for Flash. Flash is dead.

CSS3/HTML5 would have been useful.

sirkaotik responds:

It's a tutorial

beenibroh responds:

awesome man, btw you should follow me on ng

Nice take on the theme, and it got better as it went on. I did enjoy the completed animations. Would definitely play a longer one. Better if you were given random puzzles rather than the same ones in the same order.

Things to improve:
1. It should fit the screen properly. Make it scale.
2. Perhaps each level should have some sort of cryptic visual clue? E.g the glitched one, and reversed would have really benefited from this.
3. Used/attempted letters should be greyed out.

Serpent7776 responds:

Thanks for feedback. Initially I thought about randomizing puzzles, but fixed ordering was easier to do and test and stick to that.
1. Yeah, I developed for my desktop resolution and then added letter buttons to make it work on mobile. I should've really develop for mobile first.
2. That's an interesting idea
3. Yeah, that would be a nice help

I remember playing this on Kong. (If anyone else remembers, it appears to be the same author, so don't flag it)

Great game, hardcore mode is really tough though.

FluffyLotus responds:

It's true, I'm the same person. With Kong removing features, I'm trying newgrounds.

Instructions!

EDIT: Just put the instructions in the description. Shift is not an intuitive jump key.

Also, the respawn should not have the same momentum as the one that just died.

Blood splatters cause loads of lag.

VNGames responds:

Oh Thanks man, i Will make in tomorrow
