I, Jeff, under the watchful duodenum of Sun Ra, plan to enact the following policy in my first 0.000124565234 seconds in office. I will rotate the moon every six months so we get to see each side, and I promise, I will also work with the UK to ensure mutual cooperation of seal clubbing. It is also, with technical honour, that I Jeff, will move Wales and Scotland to form separate island countries!

To my rival in this race, Sentient Sockpuppet, I want to say you have been a really limp person to fight this race with, but now I wish you nothing but realization in the future. As we know, there can only be one winner here, and I want to thank my supporters, you have all been flamboyant throughout this campaign.

In closing, I just want to say, no matter who you are, or where you live, I am your president, and I want you to remember you can never have too much shelf space!

Adios!

Little-Renastair responds:

I actually need more shelves...

Great little game. Thanks for fixing the controls. More levels with different puzzles would be great. One other thing I noticed is that you can't rush if you're holding another key so you need to stop moving before you can rush.

I enjoyed it, but it has a couple of issues. Namely the issues of combining objects. The code also had me stumped for ages. Would have been good to have been able to navigate via the map.

Loved the humour and the cut scenes though.

Afferz responds:

Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it, and I'll fix the combining bug as soon as I can :)

Hit detection is way off, and there really shouldn't be a situation where damage is unavoidable.

As a learning/concept piece it's fine. As a game it's not much fun, but keep on learning and improving. My earliest attempts were much worse than this.

There's so much to like about this, and so much to be frustrated with. I love the graphics, and love the idea. The intro should be completely skippable. (i.e I should go straight to the main game if I want to.) The movement of the giants is too random, and they can move too fast. Which leads me onto the player movement: he moves too slow and can't jump high enough, which is a bigger issue considering some of the tight jumps.

When you get caught it's not clear where you will be respawned, and considering the game seem quite large, infinite lives are probably needed. And yeah, there's no save.

xinelu responds:

Thank you for your review! :)

About the respawn, in each area there`s always 1 prison cage, so you always will spawn on that cage. I will make some changes based on your feedback, thx again :D

I wanted to like this more but the slow movement turned it into a bit of a chore, especially if you had to backtrack, like I had to to go and find the clue. The thought of backtracking almost made me quit.

When I got the clue, it wasn't very helpful by itself. If I'd known how many words I was looking for it would have helped.

I really like the idea, but it has its flaws. FIrstly I'm not a fan of having to keep tapping the controls. I'd prefer to keep the key pressed down to move.

Secondly, due to the physics it's possible for things to get stuck and make the level impossible. I think it was in the second level a green block got stuck half way down a passage, trapping the water above it.

C'est beau, mais je ne parle pas français.

I have no idea how I managed to miss that!

You can choose your language at the start, just select "english".

It kept me interested enough to see it through to the end but there's room for improvement. Wandering around in the dark got old pretty quickly. On the final level at first I didn't realise that was the mech suit so first of all I went and died a couple of times. Also, the range you have to be in to enter it is a little small. An indicator should appear above it to let you know when you can enter it.

In the first stages it wasn't clear that doors could be opened, and having to press x to pick up gems seemed unusual.
